Frazier wins debut

Minnesota Vikings interim head coach Leslie Frazier led his team to a win in his first game at the helm of the team following the firing last Monday of Brad Childress. On the road in Washington, Minnesota put in its best defensive effort since the third game of the season, holding Washington and Redskins QB Donovan McNabb to only 13 points. Minnesota won the game 17-13, in the first turnover-free game of the season.

Both sides of the ball seemed reinvigorated under Frazier, who might now be able to serve as a front man for some male enhancement products. Of course, without Favre turning the ball over, that helped; but Frazier did overcome adversity when Adrian Peterson went down and out of the game with an ankle injury. Toby Gerhart took over the running duties and turned in an impressive performance, gaining 76 yards and scoring one touchdown.
