Wolves looking competent in pre-season action
While no one expects the pre-season exhibition games mean anything about how a team will perform when it counts, with the Minnesota Timberwolves, anywhere one can find hope, one grasps onto it. And with a 4-1 exhibition record so far, the Wolves are looking like a team that might actually break 20 wins this season. That’s not hoping for too much, is it?
Kevin Love looked solid against Detroit in the Wolves’ most recent preseason victory; he scored 21 points and 10 boards, which would be great if he could perform like that consistently when it counts during the regular season. While the entire team is in their running shorts, working hard, it’ll be even more promising if they can do something like this in November, rather than October.
