Dolphins a threat, even on the road

The Miami Dolphins may or may not use the Wildcat offense against the Vikings this weekend, but they should not be taken for granted when the team visits the Metrodome this weekend. The Dolphins are 1-0 while the Vikings are 0-1; and unless the Vikings’ offense gets a world of kinks ironed out by this weekend, this Miami clash could prove to be a highly losable game for the Vikes.

Remember, the Dolphins have one of the league’s better running backs in Ronnie Brown, and as a third down, relief back and return man, Ricky Williams still brings some explosiveness to the field. Sure, QB Trent Edwards is unproven, but many unproven QBs have looked good against the Vikes over the years.

Let’s hope it doesn’t require incentives like a Branson vacation package to get the Vikings offense motivated and playing hard this weekend! It’s a very winnable game … but also, quite losable.
