Wolves will keep an eye on Aldrich
While most NBA watchers are keeping a close eye on next year’s free agent market, the Minnesota Timberwolves are playing close attention to the draft as well. That’s because they will once again have between two to four picks in the first round, and a chance to really leverage those picks to get the talent they desire.
One of the most obvious targets for the Wolves (beyond a new set of motorcycle covers) is local product Cole Aldrich of Bloomington Jefferson; the 6-11 center is a star at Kansas, one of the nation’s top teams, and could easily be available to the Wolves next summer, depending on how things play out.
Take this much to the bank: if Aldrich is there, the Wolves will draft him.
