Wolves not bad under coach McHale
With a record of 10-12 since taking over, and after an 0-8 start following Randy Wittman’s dismissal, McHale’s Wolves are now 10-4 under his tutelage since then, bringing the team (including Wittman’s dismal 4-15 start) to an overall record of 14-27 at the halfway point of the season.
The question that remains is, can McHale keep the momentum going and weather the second half of the season to inch the Wolves close to a .500 record by season’s end? Or will the team go belly-up once the schedule tosses some tougher teams their way?
As a GM, McHale seemed better-suited to jobs in programming than to running an NBA team, but as a coach, he may have finally found his niche with the team.
