Wolves rebounding
No one’s handing out any silk ties to new Timberwolves coach and former Wolves vice president Kevin McHale just yet, but after bottoming out to a 4-15 start to the season that cost Randy Wittman his job, McHale finally has the Wolves on a hot streak.
The youth-laden team has won six of their last seven games, and eight of their last eleven game to boast a mark of 12-26. While that’s not an overall record that will set the world on fire, that’s a pretty decent recent hot streak that includes wins over Phoenix and Chicago.
While the Wovles have a ways to grow before they can be counted on to win more than they lose, a streak like this is certain to be an aid as the season progresses on.
